Today United Way/Centraide Windsor-Essex released the 2015 Community Well-Being Report that I was the primary author. I presented the findings during UW AGM and you can find media on it, in the Windsor Star and on the CBC News (at 3 minutes on the timeline).

The report is very comprehensive and will be a useful reference tool. I noticed that section 2 (Healthcare) describes the opportunity to strengthen our local healthcare system by building in the core in much the same way that Citizens for an Accountable Megahospital Planning Process (CAMPP) has been saying it all along. I do hope the Site Selection Committee is paying attention.
Thank you for the complements…. Regarding the hospital, there is evidence that hospitals are key drivers of economic activity. This is doubly true for ones that that have medical schools or innovation hubs in them or nearby. Depending on where the new hospital goes it will have a dramatic impact on the future development of the city.
