Goals: 2014

We are a month into 2014 and I haven’t been very accountable to one of my goals for the year, so I am about to change that.

2013 was one of the best of my life, I won an internship with one of Canada’s premier “Think Tanks”, the Fraser Institute. As a part of the internship, I spent a summer in Vancouver learning some of the ins and outs of how “think tanks” operate and gaining valuable public policy experience. I returned home from Vancouver on Labour Day weekend with a full time contact through December and I moved in with the girlfriend. In December my girlfriend and I traveled to Peru to spend 3 weeks and visiting one of the wonders of the world, Machu Picchu. It was overlooking the Lost City of the Inca’s where I proposed to my girlfriend.

When I got back to Canada it was nearly the new year and it was time to plan. With a fiancee next to me I wanted to make this year even better then 2013, and for that I needed to figure out what how my life was going to proceed. So I laid out some goals for this year, one of those goals was to take better care of this space. So my plan for this year is to post at least 52 posts this year, one per week. I can’t guarantee that each post will be groundbreaking but I will do my best to make them interesting for those who read them
